The James Deans, the third installment of the Moe Prager series, is the last book for which I have a contract with Viking/Plume. It's not me I'm worried about, but Moe. If we don't sell the hell out of this book, there's a good chance Moe Prager will fade into that netherworld of finely written private eyes who always found their man but not their audience.
